Who we are
StreamBox Player, streambox.fun and account.streambox.fun are operated by Luminstore. For any privacy question, contact us at support@streambox.fun.
Information we collect
- Account: your email address. If you sign in with Google, we also receive your name and profile picture.
- Devices: for each device you sign in on, its name, model, app version and when it was last used, so you can manage your devices. We also record which devices have used a free trial.
- Plans and purchases: your plan, trial dates and purchase history, including the amount, date and the payment provider’s reference.
- Support: messages you send us, with your name and email. Messages sent from the app also include the device name, app version and a short list of recent errors, which never contains your logins or passwords.
- Security: your IP address, kept for no more than 2 days to prevent abuse.
Information we don’t collect
The playlists and logins you add, your favourites, watch history and settings are stored only on your device. We don’t see what you watch. When you transfer playlists to another device, they are encrypted with a code shown on your screen before they leave your device; we cannot read them, and the encrypted copy is deleted after 30 minutes.
How we use your information
We use your information to provide and secure your account, manage your plan and devices, process purchases, answer support requests and send service emails such as sign-in codes. We don’t sell your information or use it for advertising.
Payments
Payments are handled by our payment partners, or by the Amazon Appstore or Google Play for in-app purchases. They receive your payment details; we never see or store your full card number.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare to host our websites and servers, Resend to send emails, and Google for “Sign in with Google”. The app connects to the playlist providers you add and, if you search for subtitles, to OpenSubtitles.
Cookies
Our websites don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. account.streambox.fun uses a single cookie to keep you signed in.
Retention and deletion
We keep your information while your account is active. Support messages are deleted after about a year. You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Account) or in My account; see how to delete your account. Deleting your account removes your email, devices and sign-ins. We keep purchase records without your email for accounting and tax purposes, and a record that a device has used its free trial.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing support@streambox.fun.
Children
StreamBox Player is not intended for children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time and will post the new version on this page. For significant changes we will also notify you in the app. See also our terms of use.
